Mike Vick was released from the Atlanta Falcons today unfortunately they couldn't get his rights traded to another team. The GM for the club said, "We spent a significant amount of time this off-season trying to trade him to another NFL club, and we had some conversations with a few teams, but nothing materialized".
That was expected though, Mike should know that he has to show and prove first and then the contracts will come. Quite frankly, now might not be a bad time to get a degree under his belt.
At the same time, Mike's brother, Marcus is back in hot water. He is facing jail time for violating the conditions of his drunken-driving sentence.
Must things always get worse before they get better?
